About me

I am a visual artist who lives and works in Brisbane, Australia. My pronouns are she/her.

Born and raised in Wollongong, I moved to Brisbane with Matt Williams, my husband, in 2005 to pursue the next adventure in our life.

I graduated from Queensland College of Art with a Bachelor of Fine Art in 2015 and juggle my artist life with a career in data analysis and marketing.

I am obsessed with art and creativity. I love making all kinds of art, looking at art, going to art galleries and talking about art with my friends. I believe that creativity is necessary for a fulfilling, rich and nourishing life – to help us process our internal world and connect us with our community and place.

Lately, I have been exploring art as therapy, psychological theory, and self-help culture within my art practice. Can visual art affirm positive self-beliefs? How does trauma manifest in our thoughts? Can art heal?

I have explored many techniques throughout my practice including illustration, painting, printmaking, collage, bookbinding and photography. I have exhibited in Brisbane, Melbourne and New York, and am proud to have my work part of private and public collections in Australia, Canada, USA and Wales.

I am a part of the See Saw Collective, a group of QCA graduates who exhibit together regularly. We have organised three shows so far.
